On 30 June 2026, the partners of the VitiSense project met in Colmar for the project’s kick-off meeting. This first gathering brought together the entire French-German-Swiss consortium and laid the foundations for three years of joint work.
Programme
The morning was devoted to presenting the partners, the project’s scientific objectives and its timeline. In the afternoon, participants visited the vineyards: observing the plots, discussing vine diseases and carrying out initial scouting for sensor installation.
Next steps
The coming months will focus on selecting the pilot plots and deploying the first sensors. Project progress will be reported here as it happens.
